HANGRY

I'm finally ready to accept that Amazon Prime strips you bare of any sense of rationality. The fact that I can order a book whilst I'm eating my breakfast and start reading it by 1pm the next day is tantalisingly tempting. And all too often, I succumb to the feminine wiles of my sultry temptress and indulge in a new book or five simply to revel in the afterglow that I'll have my impractical, irrelevant and overpriced piece of shit within 24 hours. We're conditioned by technology to eradicate trusty ole patience and instead develop a hunger for instantaneous information and material. Why should I have to finish my nutella on toast and brave London to buy something when I could quite comfortably get it within a few clicks and have it within a day?!

Ok so this was going somewhere....

One of my more practical yet equally irrational purchases was a Wayne Thiebaud monograph that collates some of his most beautiful works into a book that I wish was edible. Get in me belleh
