space

When I'm all old and wrinkly; I hope to be exacting an intelligent revenge on the ordinary inseams of high culture from an 'atelier' just like this.  Just the word 'atelier' oozes pretence! But in all honestly,  I envy anyone who has a detached space specifically to create or just to reflect on their ridiculously amazing lives.  When I think about my bedroom....probably my closest place to a "sanctuary of creativity" -  I'm riddled by guilt, shame, and heartbreak. The realisation that in spite of my self confessed fetish for good design, I choose to live in a dishevelled heap of clothes, books, empty coke cans and broken IKEA furniture. I need to get me some dollar and BURN BURN BURN it. I could quite happily sprawl out in any one of these studios and never leave.
